Taking finances too seriously

In 2015, financial anxiety had been in the driver's seat of my life for as long as I could remember.

I was tired of second-guessing myself every time I checked out at Target, tired of fighting with my husband on my lunch breaks over how my debt made me feel trapped in a job I hated, and tired of looking at my financial future and sensing that ever-present pit in my stomach.

I grabbed a napkin and wrote the biggest financial goal I could think of: “I will be debt free in five years.”

I half-believed it as I wrote it, but that moment changed my financial future. I made a commitment and decided to take control of my money. So I enrolled in online courses, read books, and hired mentors to help me change my financial results and mindset.

Although it wasn't all glamorous, within six years, I went from being in debt and stressed to a net worth of $250,000+ on an average annual salary of 56K. My financial mindset was absolutely transformed.

With my newfound confidence, I realized that the financial anxiety I had always felt wasn’t unique to me. I started helping friends, family, and strangers with their budgets. I quickly saw that my results also weren't unique, but that the method I had developed for myself could bring others success as well.

Fast forward to March 2020, as the stock market crashed and many lost their jobs, I saw more people than ever who needed help with their money. As the rest of the world spiraled into uncertainty, baked sourdough, and watched Tiger King, I officially opened Arise Financial Coaching, LLC.

Within our first year, I became completely booked with one-on-one clients. But I knew I still could help more professionals...so I started our group coaching program, Financial Goal Accelerator. After another year, to be able to serve more clients one-on-one, we hired a second financial coach.

Arise Financial Coaching has now served 600+ clients and counting. Our average client saves over $20,000, which has caught the attention of TIME, Yahoo Finance, and CNET.

As our team and our client base continue to grow, that moment of hope writing on my napkin is still at the heart of what we do. Our vision is not just increasing the money in your bank account, but helping you feel the thrill of having choices in your life, spending guilt-free on yourself and the people you love, having freedom instead of being stuck in a situation you hate, and breathing a sigh of relief when you think about the future - because you know your money plan has you covered.

Nicole Stanley, Founder & Head Financial Coach

Hi there! I'm Nicole, the founder of Arise Financial Coaching and the creator of the money momentum method. I became a financial coach because I want money to be the reason you get to do what you love. Not the reason you can't.

After battling crippling financial anxiety in my early twenties, I decided that enough was enough. I enrolled in my first personal finance course which changed the course of my life. I went from 30K in debt to building my family of four's net worth to over a quarter-million dollars at 27. No inheritance or shortcuts. That growth was about much more than numbers in a bank account. It brought joy, confidence, and freedom into my life without money or anxiety holding me back. I want this to be your story too.

I can't wait to help you do what you've always dreamed of with your money. Whether that is getting out of debt, paying for vacations cash, or having the confidence that you'll be able to retire. I'm on your team.

Annie Salinas, Associate Financial Coach

Hi everyone, I’m Annie! I've always loved being part of the transformation that learning has on people. But half a decade into my career as a teacher, my financial stress hit a breaking point. I finally faced the reality that I needed help - and my own transformation.

My good friend, who was a client of Arise, encouraged me to join the Financial Goal Accelerator program. After just weeks of implementing the new method, my results were life-changing. I went from crying in my living room to excitement and clarity around my finances, and my constant panic attacks in the grocery store checkout line gave way to confident spending, saving, investing, and giving to others.

Having experienced this shift, I immediately began to use what I'd learned to help my friends around me...and I realized how rewarding financial coaching was! After nerding out hardcore on personal finance and learning all I could about money psychology, I changed careers and joined the Arise Financial Coaching team in 2022.

As the first associate financial coach at Arise, I'm thrilled that I get to help you reach the same peace of mind and confidence that forever transformed the course of my life. I can't wait to work with you.
